Change Management Workshop for Line Managers

Objectives

The intention of the workshop is to immerse Managers in the practical aspects of change management. The outputs of the workshop will provide insights for the development of the change management strategy and plans and the Managers who participate will be in a stronger position to manage the expectations of their teams about what these changes mean for them.

Overview

A general awareness of CM session is followed by a series of workgroup activities. The group will be brought back together at appropriate intervals for sharing opportunities and the senior leaders invited to review the outputs of the workshop at the end of the day.

As this workshop is fully hands on and will require deep analysis of the likely shape of the change and impact on staff, we recommend that each workshop is attended by no more than 20 participants, organised into homogenous groups with each group facilitated by a Change Practitioner. The overall event will be facilitated by our CM expert and will offer multiple features:

      • Clearer definition of changes as they affect ground staff

      • Assessment data that can be used for planning purposes such as Change Characteristics, Organisational Attributes, Anticipated Resistance and Special Tactics

      • Self-assessment by Managers to establish areas for improvement in their change management and other skills.

      • Communications material – foundational level for further development

This Workshop is designed to be co-facilitated by your Prosci Certified Practitioners and relies on use of their single user licences to gather all data. Should your Practitioners be unavailable for this Workshop, alternative licensing arrangements may need to be made.

The final agenda, content and timings will be developed in liaison with NCSS Change Practitioners and the Primary Sponsor. It is anticipated that the workshop will run for two, half day sessions with a duration of minimum 3.5 hrs for each session.
